“Spring and summer every other day”? Where exactly is that happening, Ilse? Certainly not on the Great White Way. Snowstorm Jonas caused Broadway shows to cancel all matinee and evening performances on January 23, meaning the curtain only rose six times this week for most shows, instead of the usual eight. Despite the weather, the Deaf West revival of Spring Awakening still managed to play its final week to an impressive crowd, reaching 98.03% capacity. Five usual suspects took the top spots by gross: Hamilton, The Lion King, Wicked, The Book of Mormon and Aladdin.
